The Servants Of The Silver Lineage

The Servants of the Silver Linage can come from a range of people and races, who have all achieved something in their lives on the lower plain that can be seen as  great accomplishment.  They can vary from Kings, Queens, Knights, or just someone who made a grand sacrifice that cost their own life for a greater good.  Servants can be good or evil, but must live be some kind of code they obeyed.  Then one who has been selected to become a Servant life comes to an ends on the Lower Plain.  Their Astral form and Soul is bounded to an item that meant something to them in their life time (This can range from weapons, to treasure, to something personal like a wedding ring).  Each Servant is given a different class of category depending on what kind of person they were during their lives.   They can range from Knights, Archers, Mages. Berserkers, Assassins. or the strongest class of Servant called Rulers who are very rare and not be easy to achieve.  Once they become a Servant they are granted immortality, but are sworn to a life servitude to which Master summons them.  Servants can only be summoned to a Master they will be most compatible, and during this time they both have their souls linked to become one.  If the servant takes enough damage and is unable to recover from their wounds, they will die and the pact with their current master will end before entering a deep sleep until they are summoned by someone new.  Servants unlike Slaves from Salem have more freedom, and do not necessarily always have to obey their Master's commands.  However each Master is given a limited number of Command Seals.  With these they can order their Servant to obey an order, even against the Servants will.  However, if all command seals are used up, the pact with the servant will also end.  Masters can also terminate their pact with Servants freely any time, however a Servant can never leave their Master or betray them in anyway.

Joan Of Arc (Jeanne d'Arc)

Joan Of Arc, a Servant that holds many titles.  Some which include The Maid Of Orleans, The Maidan Of Virtual, The Blessed Goddess Of Victory, The Virgin Miracle Of The Battlefield.  Joan in her lifetime was once a incarnation for a candent of the Light of Hope and had the potential to serve as a Hand for a King or Queen, or high ranking General.  Joan was born to a simple family during the rule of Amy Sorel and carries no noble or royal blood in her veins.  She was raised in a small backwater realm of farmers and simple town folk until it was invaded when she was at the age of 15 was witness to the slaughter of all her family and towns folk.  Joan was spared due to her young age and beauty, and was taken to be sold as a working girl to the newly formed underworld businesses venture known as Kraven.  During transport she was able to escape and made her way to an open field with long grass where she hid until she knew her captures were gone.  Staying until fall, she slowly started to crawl away and by chance came across, the sword "Maid Of Heaven".  A Deity Treasure, which can show premonitions of different future outcomes giving it's wielder a great advantage in battle.

Over the next three years.  Joan trained with the sword and studied battle tactic after battle tactic to perfect her strategies.  All the while, being haunted by many dreams including the Icarians over throwing Amy Sorel, what would happen is Amy Sorel remained as queen.  The three major Shibito Wars yet to come, and much more.  However, she was able to keep her sanity and gain a broader understanding of the world around her.  At Age Eighteen, she approached a King who's rule was under threat from neighboring kingdoms who has not aliened themselves with the Sorel Throne to offer her assistance.  She had claimed that had seen many visions of how important this kingdom would be for future generations if remained out of the hands of corrupt people.

She faced a lot disbelief yet was able to over come them by offering the King a simple deal.  If he were to provide her with 100 men, she would successfully take a small outpost base her enemies have, that holds over 1000 men.  With enough men to spare, and not much to loose, the King agreed and let Joan take 100 soldiers of her choosing under her command.  Despite the odds, she came through on her promise while only loosing 13 out of the 100 men she was given.  Given the full Kings blessing, she was given command of skirmish after skirmish beating many odds every time and coming out the victor.  Word spread and her name became well know among enemy and ally a like.  However, once word the main capital of the Icarains.  They deemed her a Salem Witch, and Devil who had deceived the people.  Then order her immediate capture and execution.

The King of the realm Joan had pledged herself too became satisfied with his life of luxury he was growing accustomed with.  Feeling safe, he started becoming more and more incline to involve himself or kingdom in outside wars.  Joan seeing this being the case due to her receiving less and less support to the front lines, went to confront him.  The King seeing Joan could in fact put his life of comfort at jeopardy, ordered her to claim another land with in enemy territory, while secretly withdrawing all his troops and telling them not to come to Joan's aid.  This was result in not only her capture by enemy forces, but many of the men under his command to leave their posts after his betrayal of Joan.  It would later result in the Kingdom being overthrown by Icarain forces, and not being able to come to the aide of Amy Sorel during the invasion of her kingdom by the Icarains.

As for Joan herself, she was handed over to the Icarains before given a trail she could not win.  She was sentenced to Witch Craft, being someone from Salem and sentenced to burn to death, if a fire so strong it will melt her heart.  As the coming days to her death approached, it slowly came to her how she had miss read her foresight and gotten the information wrong.  The Maid Of Heaven showed her many outcomes, but never showed what darkness laid in peoples hearts.  She knew the Kingdom she tried to help would fall to corruption unless saved.  But she never considered that the current King was the corrupt one.

Without a chance to explain herself, Joan was found guilty of being a Salem Witch by the Icarains and burnt to death at the stake.  The flames were so hot, they burnt her bones and heart.  Then her ashes were cast to a strong wind to be blown away.  However, this was not the end of the Joan's story.  The Current of lord of the Silver Blood Lines, a powerful race that could counter balance even full blooded members of Salem in battle.  Respected Joan, and granted her a place among themselves, as a Servant under the Ruler class who would serve a chosen member of the Lower Plain she felt with honor.  Joan's soul was bound to her a spear with a banner flag on it. Her Sword, Maid Of Heaven also remained in position. Despite being a Deity Treasure, she could keep and use it to benefit her future Masters.   So, there she slept for many, many years.

After the Fourth and Final Shibito war.  Lucrecia and the Deity Feena went searching the lower plain to gather as many new Servant Treasures as they could.  There, the stumbled on the one who Held the Soul of Joan.  Lucrecia, knowing far well she only not be combatable with her (The only other two who would be Lacey and Lazeal), decided to hand her to the Alpha Omega General Amaya.  Due to the fact their towers were about to unite in marriage through her daughter Nadie.  And the great, great granddaughter of Amaya, Xianghua.  Amaya under Lucrecia's advise bound Joan's soul to the tower.  As a ruler class, Joan can control any servants even if they are bound to a Master.  This results in Amaya's tower being completely immune to any Servant attacks.  Even though Joan can accomplish this, it should be noted she would never order a another Servant to kill their own master as it goes against her code.  Seeing as Joan is linked to Amaya's tower, and not Amaya herself there are a few draw backs.  Amaya does not have Command Seals so Joan can refuse any order she sees as unfit.  Also if anyone Amaya's care falls under enemy attack away from the tower.  Joan can not provide assistance unless Amaya knows where it is and orders Joan to go assist.  However, if critically wounded or killed.  Joan's soul will return to Amaya's tower and she can regenerate a new body without terminating her pact to have Amaya as a Master.

Relationships:  Joan is a fairly known among legend as being chivalrous and bound to honor.  She is one of the most searched for Servants.

General Amaya:  Even though Joan is bound to the Tower, Joan fully acknowledges Amaya as her master.  She feels content with this and ensures her masters will is carried out by seeing to it no harm comes to Amaya's loved ones who reside with in the tower.

Mercurii:  Despite being natural enemies.  Both Mercurii and Joan show neutral respect for one another, and get along despite their differences.

Merdruat Pendragon

Merdraut Pendragon (Also known as Medraut, Mordred, Modred or Medrwat) is the first born child of the Legendary King Arthur.  As well Arthurs half Sister, the powerful Sorceress Morgan Le'Fay.  Who under orders from Queen Mab, used a spell to disguise herself so she could seduce a then younger Arthur into bed.  With the help of Queen Mab and the use of Magic, Morgan successfully fell pregnant creating what should have been the first true heir to the Pendragon legacy.  Merlin upon learning of the deception angrily confronted both Queen Mab and Morgan, but was unable to undo what had already been done.  Merlin went to inform Arthur, and informed him of the treachery saying that a child will be born that could one day very well destroy everything they are working for.

Morgan gave birth to Merdraut safely, how ever Merdruat was in fact born a girl which put Mab's and Morgana's plan at risk, as a Male would have right first rights to be the Heir of anything Arthur acquires, even a throne.
